Erick Lindgren

     Erick Lindgren an unstoppable force in the world of poker was born August 11, 1976 in Burney, California.

      He dropped out of Butte Junior College in his second year; gambling took over and he knew early on that his livelihood would be tied to poker and other games.

      Erick won his first major poker tournament in 2002 at the age of 26 at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas.Ten months later he won his first World Poker Tour and 6 months later claimed that year’s Poker Million.

      Lindgren pulled off another nice streak in 2005, finishing second in the World Series of Poker Circuit Event in Atlantic City.In February, he finished 5th in the WPT LA Poker Classic and just a week later, he won the second Professional Poker Tour tournament, also in LA.He also won a big event in the Aussie Millions which was the $100,000 buy-in event where he earned $1 million.

      In June of 2008, Erick earned his first WSOP bracelet as he defeated Justin Bonomo during heads-up play in the 5,000 buy in mixed no-limit/limitTexas Holdem event. He worked his way through a starting field of 331 players to claim victory in the $5K Mixed Hold ‘em event.

      That victory brought Erick’s career tournament winnings to more than $7 million and moved him to 20th on the all-time money list.

      Erick Lindgren has written one poker book,World Poker Tour: Making the Final Table. In this book Erick gives advice on tournament play.
