Chris Ferguson

       Christopher Philip Ferguson was born in Los Angeles, California on April 11, 1963.Chris Ferguson is one of the most recognizable poker players in the world, also known as “Jesus”.

       He graduated with a Doctors pf Philosophy in Computer Science and has a great mind when it comes to the computer as well as poker.

       Ferguson started playing poker back before he was even 10 years old and he is a relatively quiet player who often adopts a similar motionless pose in situations where he could be "read".

       Chris began his more serious poker career in 1994 when he began playing in some tournaments around the LA area, and in 1995 he entered his first World Series of Poker tournament.


       His career is one of the most successful ones. Since he started to play professional poker he has won 5 WSOP bracelets. 2000 - WSOP No-Limit Texas Holdem Championship, 2000 - WSOP Seven Card Stud, 2001 - WSOP Omaha Hi/Lo,2003 - WSOP Omaha Hi/Lo, 2003 - WSOP Half Stud/Half Holdem. With this he also made 25 final tables and 42 money finishing.


       Chris Ferguson is the only player who won three World Series of Poker circuit events.
       He is a very involved member of team Full Tilt since the beginning, and has been playing poker online for many years.


       Ferguson earned more than $8,100,000 through his tournaments as of 2009. He is the living poker legend.


       Chris “Jesus” Ferguson is also known for his impressive ability to slice vegetables by throwing playing cards at them.


       He works assiduously to improve his poker. Often, when he is away from the tables, he's at his computer analyzing hands or looking at different scenarios. He says: "I am always looking for holes in my own game so that I can repair them and become a stronger player."


       Besides playing poker, Chris Ferguson is also head of a software company.
